Description

SO 82 SE STAVERTON CHURCH LANE (south side) 6/90 Pearce monument, in the churchyard, about 3m south-east of south-east corner of chancel, Church of St Catherine GV II Short chest tomb. T. Pearce, late C18. Stone. Flat lid, moulded edge; south side raised panel, scalloped top corners, corner paterae: north side similar but quadrant upper corners, no paterae. Ends wide pilasters, raised panel on stem, pods hanging from bows on returns. Moulded plinth: set on wider stone paving. Date of death 17-4, third figure not legible.
