Description

41 Western Road is an early 19th-century building that stands as a single storey structure. It features two pairs of sash windows and is finished in stucco. The slate roof has overhanging eaves supported by four thin columns, creating a verandah. The glazing bars of the windows are intact. There is a central door flanked by sidelights. The roof extends to the east and west over passages leading to the rear of the building. A bressumer beam is positioned above the door and windows. This property is part of a group that includes Nos 37 to 51 (odd), the garden walls to the east of No 51, and Nos 30 to 36 (even), with No 45 noted for its local interest.
