Description

Nos 34 and 36 on Western Road are mid-19th century buildings that stand two storeys tall, each featuring one window. They are constructed of painted pebble with brick dressings and quoins, topped with a slate roof. The ground floor windows have glazing bar sashes with cambered heads, while the first floor windows also have cambered heads; No 34 has a glazing bar sash, and No 36 has a small casement. Both entrances are adorned with simple bracketed pointed hoods. Notably, No 36 has a door with four raised panels. These buildings, along with Nos 30 to 36, form a group of local interest, which is complemented by Nos 37 to 51 and the garden wall to the east of No 51.
