Description
11 and 12 South Terrace are an early 19th-century pair of buildings originally incorporating a basement and area. They are two stories high. The facades are stuccoed with curved fronts and feature horizontal channel detailing to the ground floor. A band and cornice run above the second floor. Originally, there was a parapet and two dormers, but the top floor of number 12 has been extended to sit flush with the remainder of the building, incorporating a cornice. First-floor hooded balconies are present; the balcony on number 11 is glazed, while that on number 12 is partially glazed. Most window glazing bars remain intact. The windows have architraves on the second floor, and number 12 has a label over the first-floor window. The doorways contain rectangular fanlights, and the original 10-panel doors have each lost six panels, though they retain glazing. Numbers 3 to 20 South Terrace and the east garden wall of number 3 form a group.
