Nos 2 to 8 on High Street are a pair of buildings dating from 1895, with an east bay added to the Mill Road elevation in 1932. The ground floor is constructed of red brick, while the first floor is timber-framed with rendered nogging. The building features a pitched tile roof and red brick chimneys adorned with extensive cornicing. It stands two storeys tall with attics.
On the ground floor, there is one door each on the north and south elevations, one on each corner, and two on the west elevation. The ground floor windows are tripartite mullioned casements with lead glazing bars and hoodmoulds. The first floor is jettied and has windows grouped under gables, with three on both the north and south elevations, one at each corner, and five on the west elevation. All first-floor windows are mullion and transom casements, with some set in coved oriels.
