Description

Forge Cottage is an early 18th-century thatched cottage located on the east side of Lyminster Road. The building is constructed of flint with brick dressings and quoins. It has two storeys and originally two windows, with a single-window catslide extension to the north. The ground floor windows have cambered arches, and the first floor retains original casement windows. A modern brick porch with a hipped tiled gable has been added. Inside, there is an inglenook fireplace, incorporating a more modern chimney.
