Description

Flint Cottage and Paigles is an L-shaped building, with the front wing dating from the 18th century. It stands two storeys high and features three windows. The exterior is faced with flints, complemented by red brick dressings, quoins, a stringcourse, and a modillion eaves cornice. The roof is tiled, and the glazing bars are intact. The doorway is framed by a moulded architrave surround with a pediment above, leading to a door with six moulded and fielded panels. Inside, there is an interesting contemporary safe. The back or east wing, known as Paigles, is a 19th-century addition.
