Description

The Locomotive Public House is a mid-19th century building featuring two storeys and three windows, designed in a half 'H' plan. It is constructed using traditional vernacular materials, including cobbles with brick dressings, an eaves band, and quoins. The building has sash windows set beneath rubbed brick flat arches and is topped with a hipped slate roof. The entrance includes a panelled door with four glazed panels, and there is a modern asbestos porch added to the front.
