Description

The Old Cottage is a two-storey cottage dated 1736, located on Wick Street. It features three windows and is constructed from squared knapped flints with red brick dressings, including a string course and quoins. The original central entrance has been converted into a window. The cottage has casement windows with flat arches, and the ground floor openings display initials and the date engraved on the impost bricks. At the rear, there is a catslide roof, while the later slate roof has parapets at the gables and brick kneelers.
