Description
Court Wick Park Stables, formerly known as The Old Coach House, is an early 19th-century building designed in the Gothick style. It is two storeys high and features three windows, with single-storey additions on each side that include entrances. The building has a hipped slate roof topped with a central bell turret that houses a clock and a weathervane. The exterior is constructed from squared knapped flints, accented with stone quoins, a cornice, window frames, mullions, and door jambs. The central doorway is ogee-headed and capped by a pineapple. The ground floor windows consist of twin lancets with a blind quatrefoil beneath a pointed drip mould, while the first-floor windows are quatrefoils. The side entrances are covered by lean-to roofs and are flanked by vesca-shaped windows.
