Description

Court Wick Park is a mid-18th century building featuring a north wing that has two storeys, an attic, and a basement. It has five windows and two dormers, constructed with grey headers and red brick dressings, along with quoins, a stringcourse, and a modillion eaves cornice. The roof is later covered with slate, and the windows are sash style. The entrance includes a Doric porch with a flat entablature that has segmental arches on each side, heavy mutules, and a coffered soffit. The door shutters have an early 19th-century reeded frame. The east side of the north wing is made of red brick with grey headers. The south wing, built at right angles in the 19th century, has two storeys and a basement with two windows, also featuring a slate roof and red brick construction. It includes two pairs of sash windows under cambered arches and a semi-circular arch entrance that is recessed and accessed by steps, with a six-panel door, a large rectangular fanlight, and sidelights.
