Description
The 6 Bells Public House is a 2-storey building dated 1732, located on Lyminster Road. It features three windows and has a 19th-century slate roof. The exterior is constructed of squared knapped flints with brick dressings and a stringcourse. The windows are casement style, set under cambered arches, with cement heads on the two right-hand windows of the ground floor. Inside, there is a significant amount of exposed timber and panelling in the lounge, some of which is recent. The building has ground floor extensions at right angles on each end of the front, with the latter being cobble fronted and featuring brick dressings.
