Description

The dovecote at Toddington Farm, dated 1699, is a two-storey square building located to the east of the farmhouse. It is framed to the north and south by 19th-century farm buildings. The west and east fronts are constructed with squared knapped flints, while the gable ends are made of brick with weatherboarded tips. The west front features an opening above the central door, framed by date bricks reading "16 - opening - 9, A over 1 T, 9." The east front has two dove openings with slab-rests in front, as well as an additional dove-rest on the north-east corner. The interior is built of chalk, and the roof is tiled.
