House and cottage, now public house. Late C18 and early C19. Cottage to left:- Brown brick with tile hanging above, swept out over ground floor and plain tiled roof. Two storeys with two plain casement windows on the first floor and two casement windows to ground floor with central mullion in the top light. Central panelled door. Stack to right end at junction with Public House. Public House:- Taller range with stack at junction with cottage and end stack to right. Three glazing bar sash windows to the first floor, the outer ones 20-pane, the centre window 16-pane, all under gauged brick heads. Wooden frontispiece across the ground floor under slate roof. Two C20 bow windows with bottle glass. Pilaster strips and dosserets with entablature over. Arched and panelled door reveal to left end with door of 6 panels under a fan- light. Paired arched and panelled doors to centre in similar surround. Interior:- Partition wall of thin framing with colourwashed brick infill.
