Description

Hope Cottage is an 18th-century cottage with a 20th-century extension on the right. It is built from brown and blue brick and features plain tiled roofs, hipped on the main structure and lower over the extension. The main cottage has two storeys, while the extension is a single storey. There is an end stack on the left and a moulded brick eaves cornice. The front of the cottage is regular, with two casement windows on the first floor and two three-light, cambered-head windows on the ground floor. A central door is located under a flat hood. The extension has a cambered head window on the right and a stable-style door. This building is included for its group value only.
