Description

25 Lower Street is a cottage dating from the late 18th century, with a 19th-century extension on the right. The building is constructed of brick, with the left section primarily in blue header bond and the right section in stretcher bond. It features a gable-ended tiled roof with brick stacks at both ends of the original range. The cottage is two storeys high and has a four-window range. The ground floor windows are set under segmental brick arches. The older part of the cottage has two-light casements with glazing bars, while the right extension features four-pane sash windows. The front door is glazed.
