Description

Wayside Cottage is a cottage, probably from the late 18th century, with a 19th-century extension on the right. The original structure has rubble walls, while the extension is made of whitewashed brick. It features a gable-ended roof, with the original range thatched and the extension slated. There are end brick stacks on the original range. The cottage is two storeys high and has a three-window range on the original house, with two-light casements that include horizontal glazing bars. To the left, there is a single-storey outshut.
