Description

Folke Cottage is a cottage that likely dates from the mid-18th century or possibly earlier, with extensions and alterations made in the 19th century. The building is constructed of rubble and features a thatched roof with stone stacks at the ends. It has an L-shaped plan and stands two storeys tall, with a range of five windows. The two right-hand bays are significantly taller than the left side, which is thought to be the original part of the house. Most of the windows are three-light casements with horizontal glazing bars. There is a canted bay window on the ground floor to the right, and the entrance features a panelled door topped with a rectangular fanlight.
