Description
Lockes Cottage is a cottage dating from the early 18th century, with 19th and 20th century extensions on the right. It is constructed of red brick with blue brick headers below a rubblestone plinth, and red brick above, with some tile hanging on the right side. The roof is plain tiled and features an end stack on the right and a stack to the right of the center. The cottage has two storeys, with a plat band over the ground floor on the left. There are two diamond-pane leaded casements on the first floor left, which are situated under cambered hoods. A 20th century window is set back in a bay to the right. The entrance includes a half-glazed stable door under a camber head, located in a gabled porch hood supported by brackets, and there is a further planked door at the right end.
