Description

Dell Cottage is an early 18th-century cottage constructed with a timber frame of thin scantling and features a galleted rubblestone exterior, complemented by brick end quoins and dressings. The roof is plain tiled and hipped to the right, with a large offset end stack located to the left. The cottage stands two storeys high and has two diamond pane leaded casement windows on the first floor, with camber head casements below. A planked door is positioned at the front of the left-hand return front, and there is square panel framing exposed above, beneath a tile-hung gable. At the rear, there is a catslide roof.
