Description

Langstone Farm House is a house that likely originated in the 17th century and was refaced in the 20th century. It is constructed of brick in stretcher bond with rubble at the rear. The building has a gable-ended, thatched roof featuring brick stacks at the gables and to the right of the front door. It stands two storeys tall with irregular window arrangements. The windows are 3-light casements with horizontal glazing bars, except for the ground floor right, which has a similar 2-light window. The ground floor openings are set under segmental brick arches, and there is a plank front door. The layout is probably a cross passage plan, with the stack backing onto the cross passage.
