Description

Bourne Cottage is an 18th-century cottage with a 19th-century extension to the east. It is constructed of random rubble with galletting and red brick dressings. The roof is plain tiled, hipped to the east, and features a stack at the west end. The building has two storeys and an irregular facade with three windows, all of which are casements. On the ground floor, the two windows to the right have segment-head surrounds, while there is a hexagonal bay window to the left. The two-storey extension to the east has a red brick ground floor and a weatherboarded first floor. This building is included for its group value.
