Description

Buttons Bourne Farmhouse is a late 18th-century farmhouse located on the south side of Bourne Lane in Plaxtol. It is constructed of painted brick set on a wide plinth. The building features corbelled boxed eaves beneath a plain tiled roof that is half-hipped to the north. There are three sliding casement hipped dormers and the farmhouse has two storeys with an attic and cellar. It includes three windows that are glazing bar sashes, and one half collar light. The central entrance has a panelled door, which is accompanied by a modern porch.
