Description
The Red Bull Public House is a cottage that has been converted into a public house, dating from the late 16th century or early 17th century, with later additions from the 19th or 20th century. The building features a timber frame and roughcast exterior, topped with a plain tiled roof that is hipped to the left and has an end stack on the right. It stands two storeys high and has an irregular two-window front. The first floor has casement windows, while the ground floor features public house windows. There are panelled doors with central glazed lights located to the left and to the right of the centre. To the left, there is a two-storey 19th-century wing that extends at right angles, and to the right, there is a one-storey 20th-century wing. Inside, the building showcases a substantial timber frame with jowled posts and one visible curved brace, along with a queen-post side-purlin roof.
