Description
The George and Dragon Public House is a public house that features an earlier cottage at the rear. The rear section dates back to the 16th century, while the street-facing part was built in the later 18th century. The street front is constructed of painted brick and has a plain tiled roof with end stacks and three flat-roofed leaded dormers. The building has two storeys and attics, with a four-window front. The first floor has glazing bar sash windows, while the ground floor features metal casements. There are three public-house doors in the center; the two on the left are paired, and all doors have flat projecting hoods. To the left, there is a mid-20th century brick and tile-hung addition, which is not listed. The rear wing displays exposed framing and also has a plain tiled roof.
