Description

Sudbury House is a house built around 1825. It is constructed of red brick and features a low-pitched pyramidal slate roof with end stacks. The building has two storeys and a regular two-window facade, with glazing bar sashes that have gauged heads on the ground floor. There is a small central first-floor window positioned high under the eaves. The entrance is centrally located and arched, with an overlight and a half-glazed door. The doorcase includes panelled reveals and fluted Doric columns that support a flat bracketed hood. Above the capitals, there are sections of a Doric frieze framing the archway.
