Description
The Three Post Boys Public House is a public house that was originally a house, dating from the 16th century and altered in the later 19th century. The building is rendered and features a plain tiled roof with a return gable on the right and decorated barge-boards. There is a flat-headed dormer above the left end stack of the rear wing. The structure has one storey and an attic on the left side and two storeys and an attic on the right side. An early 19th-century shop front is located on the left, while a large casement window is found on the ground floor to the right. On the first floor to the right, there are two glazing bar sash windows, and a sliding casement window is positioned under the gable on the right. There are doorways with half-glazed doors at the extreme left and to the right under the gable. The right side features a jettied corner with a diagonal entrance below, which has half-glazed double doors.
