Description
This is an 18th-century outbuilding situated to the south of number 1, Upper Hale Road. It is a ground and loft storey structure with a tile roof featuring half-hips at each end. The building is brick-clad, with a projecting plinth. The east gable end has a brick string course. The south front features brick pilasters rising above a projecting plinth, and includes a variety of door and window openings. The north side has two windows with bars, a two-light casement window, a loft door, and below that, three segmental-headed two-light windows, a ledged door, and a double ledged door. A door is also located at an intermediate level towards the left-hand end. The outbuilding forms part of a group of listed buildings including The Church of St John the Evangelist in Hale Road and Hale Court on Farnborough Road.
