Description
This is an outbuilding located east of the Manor House in Marston Montgomery, dating from the 18th century with later alterations. It features timber framing and red brick with brick dressings, topped by a plain tile roof with plain bargeboards. There is a plain band at the first floor level. The building has two storeys and three bays, with a gabled northern crosswing.
The gabled street elevation includes a plank door with a segmental head on the east side and a 3-light fixed pane window with a similar segmental head on the west side. Above this window, there is another similar window with a central casement, and in the gable above that is a pigeoncote with two raised bands and square holes.
On the south elevation, there are two segment-headed doorcases, one of which is blocked. Above these, there is a central door and a small hayloft door. At the south end, an exposed queen post truss features a central casement window. The interior contains bread ovens in the north room. This building is included for its group value only.
