Description

Rose Cottage is an early 19th-century cottage located on the east side of Thurvaston Road in the parish of Marston Montgomery. It is built of red brick with brick dressings and features a plain tile roof, which has an external gable brick stack on the north side. The cottage stands two storeys high and has two bays. The central entrance has a segment-headed doorcase that contains a 20th-century glazed door. On either side of the door, there are segment-headed three-light glazing bar casements. Above the door, there are two similar two-light casements. A later addition has been made to the rear of the cottage. This building is included in the register for its group value.
