Description
Dove House is a house from the early 19th century, with a later addition from the 19th century. It is constructed of red brick with brick dressings and has plain tile roofs featuring brick gable and ridge stacks. The later addition has dentilled eaves. The house has three bays and two storeys, arranged in a T-plan, with the advanced western single bay crosswing being the later addition.
The windows have segment heads and feature casements, flanking a central doorcase with a panelled door and a gabled, open wooden porch from the late 19th century. To the west, the later addition has a blank south wall but includes a plain sash window under a segment head to the east. Above this, there are two flat-headed three-light casement windows to the east, and to the west, there is a similar taller window under a segment head. The building is included for its group value only.
