Description

The Liberal Club is a building designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens, completed in 1895, and is one of his earliest works. It is constructed in the Late 17th century style and features two storeys with five windows. The building is made of red brick and includes a string course and an eaves cornice. The roof is slate, and the windows are casement style, consisting of four sections with small square leaded panes. The entrance has a doorway adorned with pilasters and a pediment. For a reproduction of the front elevation, refer to Country Life, 24 August 1961.
