Description
The boundary wall to the Congregational Church, built in the 19th century, is located along South Street. It is constructed of rough ashlar stone, featuring a contrasting stone capping and a moulded plinth made of similar contrasting stone. The southwest return wall is made of brick and topped with brick coping. Along South Street, there are stone buttresses at intervals that rise above the wall to form piers. The lower part of each pier is made of stone rubble, while the upper part is ashlar. Each pier has peaked caps with a gablet on each side and a finial on top.
