Description
The Congregational Church, built in the 19th century, features a rough ashlar masonry design with quoins and dressings. The structure includes a nave and side aisles, with a lean-to vestibule at the northeast end. On either side of the vestibule, there are three-light lancet windows and stepped buttresses at the ends, along with a gabled porch in the center. Above the porch, the northeast end wall displays a tall window in the style of the 14th century, consisting of four lights, each with a cusped head, along with two quatrefoils and a rose window above. To the left of the northeast front stands a tower with a stepped buttress at the angle and a spire above. The return walls feature six nave windows that alternate between round and three-light lancet heads. Each aisle contains four two-light lancet-headed windows, flanked by stepped buttresses. In the southeast aisle, there are rose windows with gables above and two-light windows with roundels above them.
