Description

The Lodge to Knowlton Court is a building designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens, constructed in 1912. It is made of red brick in English bond and features a plain tiled roof. The structure consists of one storey and an attic, with a prominent central porch that rises to two storeys. The gables have moulded kneelered parapets, and there is a large stack at the centre rear with four moulded flues and a window on the rear elevation. The central porch contains a two-light brick mullioned window, while there are four-light brick mullioned windows on either side of the porch. The entrance features a central boarded door set within a round-headed opening that has a label above it.
