Description

The wall surrounding the churchyard of St Clement is a structure that dates from the early 18th century and includes sections from the early 20th century. It is made of red brick and features simple wrought iron gates facing the road to the north and Knowlton Court to the south, with small ball finials on the gate piers. The wall varies in height, approximately 5 feet tall, and has heavy coping. To the west of the church, there is an 18th-century section that includes two piers and incorporates a re-used datestone from the year 1613.
