WEST STREET (North West side) Nos 114 and 115 (Formerly listed as No 115)

Nos 114 and 115: E W Langham, Printer and office of Farnham Herald. C18, 3 storey, red brick. Bold wood moulded and bracketed cornice. Hipped old tile roof. Front in 2 parts, the left hand with slight projection 4 windows to upper part. On ground floor one segmental-arched window to right hand with radiating and circular bead glazing, late C18 - 6-panel door to right hand of centre, with upper panels glazed in arched panelled reveal with fanlight of circular and curved pattern and doorcase of engaged fluted Doric columns, broken entablature and open pediment. Georgian style shop front [1952] to left hand with 2 bow windows curving in to central glazed door; H Falkner; rectangular fanlight with tracery.
