Description
Coverwood Farm House is a 17th-century house with a T-shaped plan. It features a timber frame that is clad in whitewashed render on the right side, while the left of the center is made of sandstone rubble with brick dressings and angle quoins, all topped with a machine-tiled roof. The house has two storeys, with a square chimney stack from the 20th century at the rear right and a 19th-century stack on the left. There is an oversailing gable to the left of the center. The first floor has four casement windows, and there are two large windows below. To the right, there is a part-glazed door set in a gabled porch. At the rear, there is a wing made of sandstone rubble and rendered material with a hip roof, which has a thin frame exposed at the end. Inside, the old rear wall frame is preserved.
