Description
Chevington is a 17th-century house located in Bletchingley. It features a timber frame set on a red brick plinth, with whitewashed brick above. The first floor is partially tile hung, with the right and center sections entirely covered in tiles, while the left side is also fully tile hung. The roof is plain tiled, half hipped to the right, and has end stacks as well as a rear ridge stack positioned to the left of center. The house is two storeys tall, with three casement windows on the first floor and ground floor windows that have cambered heads. There is a gabled single-storey wing that projects from the left of center, which includes a four-panel door on its left side. Additionally, there is a 20th-century wing at the rear left.
