Description
This building is a brick kiln house dating from the late 16th century, which has been restored and extended to the right and rear in the 20th century. It features a timber frame set on a rendered plinth, with red and blue brick cladding on the left side, rubble stone on the right extension, and brown brick infill above to the left. The roof is plain tiled and hipped to the left, with a corbelled ridge stack positioned to the left of center and an end ridge stack on the right. The house has two storeys, with a row of pent tiles over the ground floor, three framed bays on the left, and a one-bay extension on the right. The first floor has four 20th-century leaded casements. A ribbed door is located to the left of center, sheltered by a flat porch hood. There is also a single-storey 20th-century wing with a flat roof at the rear left.
