Description

The Timber Barn is a mid-18th century barn situated in Bletchingley. It is timber framed and sits on a red and blue brick plinth. The spaces between the timber posts are filled with red brick, and the upper parts of the return fronts are weatherboarded. The roof is tiled and has a half-hipped front, with corrugated asbestos sheeting at the rear. The barn is two storeys high, featuring a casement window on the first floor to the left, and two camber-headed windows on the ground floor to the right and center. A stable-style plank door is located to the left of the center, and a further stable-style door is present in the right-hand return front. The barn is listed for its group value with Court Lodge Farm House.
