Description
The lamp post located in front of The Freemasons' Hall on Castle Street dates from the late 19th century. It features a tapering octagonal shaft with bands of necking, a moulded octagonal plinth, and a quadrangular lamp with cresting. This lamp post is part of a group of listed buildings that includes Nos 1 to 9 (consecutive) Lowndes Buildings on the west side of Castle Street.
