Description
The Thatched Cottage is a 17th-century cottage with extensive 20th-century additions to the rear. It has a timber-framed core, white-washed brick cladding, and a thatched roof. The cottage features a tall offset end stack on the left, which has flint patching and tiles over the offset. It is one storey high with a gable-lit attic and has two casement windows on the ground floor. There is a 20th-century half-glazed and ribbed door at the centre. To the right end, there is a single-storey addition with a felt roof and a catslide to the rear. The extensive additions to the rear left form a courtyard. Inside, the timber framing is visible, primarily in the ceiling frames.
