Description
Elm Farm House is a house dating from the late 16th century, with the left end bay rebuilt in the mid 20th century. It features a timber frame with brick infill at the rear and a front made of red and blue bricks from the late 18th century. The house has been restored with plain tiled hipped roofs from the 20th century, including a large ridge stack on the right side. It stands two storeys tall on a rendered plinth and has three sash windows with cambered heads across the first floor. The entrance is through a half-glazed door located in a late 19th-century gabled brick porch. The rear of the house displays exposed timber framing, consisting of three framed bays with casement windows.
