Description
This is a 17th-century barn located 10 yards west of Jarves Farmhouse in Horne. It is constructed with a timber frame and has weatherboard cladding, topped with a plain tiled roof. There is a rendered brick addition on the northwest side, featuring a corrugated asbestos roof. The barn is rectangular and positioned at right angles to the road, consisting of four framed bays. The fenestration is irregular, with three casement windows. There are double doors located to the right of the center on the west side, with an additional opening to the left of the center. A pent roof extension is present at the south end and on the east side, along with another window and door in the northern half of the east side. This barn is included in the listing for its group value only.
