Description

This is a 17th-century barn located at Eythorne on Flax Court Lane. The barn is constructed with a timber frame set on a base of flint and brick, and it is clad in weatherboarding with a roof made of corrugated asbestos. The roof is half-hipped and features a raking stry to the center left. Inside, the barn consists of four bays with aisles, and it includes passing shores to the arcade posts along with a clasped purlin roof. This barn was formerly part of the farm buildings associated with Brinsdale Farm, which is a demolished structure likely dating from the 16th or 17th century.
