Description
The Old Bakery is a house dating from the mid-18th century, located on the south side of Church Hill in Eythorne. The building is rendered, with exposed red and blue brick on the right side. It features a plain tiled roof and is one storey high with an attic, characterized by a hipped roof that has three gabled dormers and a central right chimney stack. To the left of the building, there are two sash windows and a boarded door situated in a gabled porch. On the right side, there is a projecting outshot that includes a boarded door and a glazing bar sash window. Attached to the rear of the house is a wall that extends westward up Church Hill for about 25 yards. This wall is made of red brick, approximately 12 feet high, built on a plinth with coping, and has a boarded door at the end closest to the house.
