Description
Woodpecker Court is an early 18th-century manor house located in Lower Eyethorne. The building is constructed of red brick with a plain tiled roof. It is two storeys high, with a basement, and features a plinth and a moulded wooden eaves cornice to the hipped roof. Brick stacks are situated on the left and right sides. The front elevation has five glazing bar sashes on each floor, with those on the ground floor having segmental heads. A segmentally headed basement opening is located on the left side. Entry is provided by a half-glazed door with a flat hood on the rear elevation.
The interior includes stop-chamfered ceiling joists and inglenooks. Cellars contain elliptical wall recesses.
