Description
The Manor House is a mid-18th century manor house located on the north side of Naseby Road. It features chequered brick construction and a slate roof. The building originally had a two-unit plan and stands two storeys tall with an attic, presenting a three-window range. The central entrance is a six-panelled door that retains remnants of a moulded wood surround. The windows include tripartite sashes and a central single-sash on the first floor, all with glazing bars and moulded wood surrounds, topped with flat brick arches. A raised string course separates the floors, and there is a moulded wood coved cornice. The gable ends are adorned with ashlar parapets and kneelers, and there are two dormers on the roof. Brick stacks are located at both ends of the house. The right gable features a wooden oriel window in the attic with leaded lights. Attached to the left side is a single-storey outhouse, which also showcases chequered brickwork. The interior has not been inspected.
