Description
Burdetts Lodge is a farmhouse that likely dates from the mid 18th century and was extended in the 19th century. The building is constructed from rendered cob and brick, topped with a corrugated metal roof. It originally had a two-unit plan and stands two storeys high, featuring a two-window range of casement windows. To the left, there is a 20th-century door and a glazed porch. A brick stack is located at the ridge of the roof. To the right, there is a 19th-century brick extension, and at the rear, there is a one-unit extension with a catslide roof. The lodge is included in the register as an example of cob construction.
